Communion is one of two sacraments in the Lutheran Church. There is no “magic” age that is perfect for your child to receive their first communion, but we encourage you to take the class when your child begins to show interest in receiving communion, and wants to learn more about it. Youth Snow Tubing

All middle and high schoolers (6th-12th graders) are invited to snow tubing on Saturday, February 18! Join us for 2 hours of tubing at Elm Creek Park Reserve from 4 to 6 pm. Included in your participation fee is the cost of the tubing ticket, along with transportation to and from Elm Creek. There will also be snacks available. If you are interested in taking the bus to Elm Creek, please arrive at St. Andrew by 3:15 PM.

The Benevolence and Endowment Fund 2023 Q1 deadline is approaching. If you are interested in supporting an organization with growth in faith, Christian service, or growth in giving is fostered, please consider putting in an application before the deadline. The Endowment fund supports one-off capital or project expenses and the deadline is February 1, 2023. A mainstay partner of St. Andrew Lutheran Church is PROP, our local social service agency that not only provides food for area residents through the food shelf, but many other services valuable services.
