HOME Leaf Raking
What better way to spend a sunny, beautiful fall day than with family and friends outside among all the brightly colored leaves? Seniors in our community need the help! Come join other volunteers from your St. Andrew family helping senior members of our community for a morning of leaf raking.
We will be helping the HOME program (Household & Outside Maintenance for Elderly) on Saturday, October 29 beginning at 9AM to be split up into teams and receive client assignments.
Volunteers will bring the muscle and their rakes, the people we help will provide the smiles and encouragement. Lawn bags are provided by the home owners. Volunteers of all ages are welcome. We are looking to form teams of 8-10 volunteers to be assigned to each home. The more people who sign up, the more Seniors we can help! These assignments will be done ahead of time, so please make any grouping requests as you sign-up.
