Baptisms

Baptisms are central to who we are as Lutherans

In the waters of baptism God comes to us – just as we are – promising us forgiveness and new life, community and life eternal.

Baptisms are typically held during morning worship on the 2nd Sunday of the month at the 9:00 AM or the 4th and 5th Sundays of each month at the 10:30 AM service. Or, during any Sunday Night Worship service. Please provide two weeks prior notice when possible.

If you or a loved one is considering baptism, please contact Cindy Johnson or complete the Baptismal Registration Form.

At St. Andrew, our baptismal training is done by home visit, so that you don’t need to worry about wrangling the kids to get to church on any given Sunday. Pastor Matthew will do some baptismal training and get to know your family a little bit better before being baptized at St. Andrew.

We look forward to sharing with you the blessings of baptism and hearing from you with any questions you might have.
