PRAYER OF THE DAY
O Holy One, we are quick to diagnose the flaws of our neighbors and eager to prescribe the changes that would make them easier to love. In doing so, we reduce others to mere problems in need of a solution. How fortunate we are, O God, that you do not treat us this way. You heal us out of a desire for wholeness and abundance. Renew and reform us alongside our enemies, through the persistent love of your Son, Jesus Christ our Savior, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen.
