When we travel abroad to different countries, we witness new and different cultures. How do we react to them? There are different cultures in our own community, too, based on age, race, socio-economic status, national background, sexual orientation, etc. The IDI process is a global network of people committed to facilitating cross-cultural openness and understanding as a way to transcend ethnocentrism and establish effective, positive relations across cultural boundaries. The IDI is part of A More Just World program at St. Andrew.
