Mark 16:1-8
Christ is risen! He is risen, indeed! On Easter morning, Christians around the world gather to celebrate the most significant event in the life of the church. The tomb is empty. Jesus is alive! Easter changes everything. The day centers around the message: the resurrection promise that joy, hope, and faith will ultimately prevail. Because of Easter, we believe that life is stronger than death, that love is greater than hate, that mercy overcomes judgement, and that the sufferings and difficulties of this life do not have the last word.
