We may think ourselves beyond generous to forgive someone seven times but Jesus challenges our thinking by saying, “not seven times but seventy-seven times.” In other words, for those of us who follow Christ, forgiveness becomes not so much an act but a way of life. How are we equipping ourselves to face this giant of resentment?
