“Peace” (10:30 AM Blended)

Text: Isaiah 2:1-5 Christ’s coming as the Prince of Peace teaches us about God’s heart and God’s desire for us to live in peace. How are we called in this present age to “beat our swords into ploughshares” as we make a statement for peace through humble service to our neighbors?

“Hope” (10:30 AM Blended)

Text: Isaiah 64:1-9 When we light a candle, we say “no” to the darkness: this is the essence of hope. The prophet Isaiah and John the Baptist both remind us in their own way that God will rend the heavens and come down to us and that he comes to be the very Light of the World for all of us who need real hope.
