PRAYER OF THE DAY
Gracious God, we thank you for your word that does not return to you empty. By your Holy Spirit, make us into a people who are ready to hear your word and to live according to that word that we have received, through Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.
CHILDREN’S MESSAGE
READINGS
Isaiah 55:6, 10-11
Seek the Lord while he may be found, call upon him while he is near… For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return there until they have watered the earth, making it bring forth and sprout, giving seed to the sower and bread to the eater, so shall my word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and succeed in the thing for which I sent it.
The Word of the Lord. Thanks be to God.
Revelation 2:7
Let anyone who has an ear listen to what the Spirit is saying to the churches. To everyone who conquers, I will give permission to eat from the tree of life that is in the paradise of God.
The Word of the Lord. Thanks be to God.

OFFERING PRAYER
God of grace, your love reaches to the heavens,
and your abundance to the depths of the seas.
Bless what we offer to your service:
our gifts, our abilities, and our hearts.
Let us overflow with gratitude and generosity,
now and always. Amen.
APOSTLE’S CREED
We believe in God, the Father almighty,
creator of heaven and earth.
We believe in Jesus Christ, God’s only Son, our Lord,
who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
born of the virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died, and was buried;
he descended to the dead.
On the third day he rose again;
he ascended into heaven,
he is seated at the right hand of the Father,
and he will come to judge the living and the dead.
We believe in the Holy Spirit,
the holy catholic church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and the life everlasting. Amen.
