Through this resource, we will be taking a deeper look at the Sunday morning readings in worship, see how they fit into the overall story of faith, and glean faithful insights from one another.

This fall we kick off a year-long sermon series that will take us through the Bible from Genesis to Revelation. As part of this series, we will read Zack W. Lambert’s new book “Better Ways to Read the Bible” beginning September 17 through October 15. Zack Lambert will be one of the featured speakers at Church Anew’s Fall Conference – Preach: Clarity, Courage, Faithful Witness. Join Zack on his personal journey of what it means to read the Bible as a tool for healing instead of a weapon of harm.

A women’s Bible study of faith and fellowship. Each week includes large group lecture, small group discussion and weekly homework assignments. Each small group includes both in person and virtual options. For beginners through advanced! Study materials need to be purchased by each participant. Scholarships are available.

The Saturday morning men’s group is a lighthearted bunch from several churches in the Southwest Metro that enjoys Christian fellowship and learning.

We have a particular liking to Andy Stanley and other contemporary Christian preachers. We use videos and Bible studies as conversation starters on living a Christian man’s life in today’s world. Join us anytime, you don’t need to wait until we start a new series.
All mature (from 50 to 115) Christian men (St. Andrew membership not required) welcome. Come as you are as often as you can.

Losing someone we love is one of life’s most challenging passages. The churches of the Southwest Grief Coalition have bound together to provide support to those who are grieving the death of a family member or friend. This is a caring, supportive, and confidential setting, where you can learn about how your grief leads to personal growth and healing.

This support group aims to provide a safe, accepting and non-judgmental place for people struggling with the challenge of suicide loss. Leadership of this support group have experienced personal loss of their own and have received specialized training.

A local Alcoholics Anonymous group meeting at St. Andrew — open to all seeking recovery.

Do you have a friend or loved one that lives with a mental illness? Gain insight from the challenges and successes of others facing similar experiences, build understanding and awareness, and connect with others. The group is led by trained leaders with lived experience. Join us, this journey is better traveled in community with others.

Going through the loss of a family member or friend is a challenging time. A drop-in support group may be just the thing you need for support and encouragement. Join us at our Summer Grief Support Group led by experienced and trained grief support facilitators from the Southwest Grief Coalition. These sessions are designed to be a drop-in format for conversation and encouragement.

Practical and emotional support for those navigating career changes or job loss.

Queer Faith Alliance is a small group learning together about how we as individuals, families, and the church can be fully welcoming and inclusive to the LBGTQ+ community. It is the responsibility of the Church to affirm all people and celebrate orientations and gender expressions that have often been targeted. When we work in community to feel God’s all-embracing love, we are stronger for it.

Find support and encouragement while discussing current events, reading articles and books, and hearing guest speakers. Members of the group are open and accepting. Many are LGBTQ+ and/or have family members who have come out and are needing love and support in navigating their life’s circumstances.

This is a safe place to talk about our desires for acceptance and openly talk about how society in some places still stands in opposition to the people we care about. Together, Queer Faith Alliance advocates for affirmation, belonging, and embrace for all of God’s beloved children within St. Andrew, our community, and the world.

When it comes to matters of race in our community, St. Andrew is dedicated to helping create a more just world for all people through listening, learning, growing, and acting differently. Monthly meetings provide fellowship for people wanting to dedicate themselves to this process on an ongoing basis. Join us for conversation and learning opportunities. We discuss different cultures, race, equity, and healing through the use of readings, videos and other media as we rally around the cause to create a more just world for all. With the help of Pastor Kelly Chatman, we are partnering with Zion Baptist Church and Zion’s Pastor, Brian Herron. Pastor Kelly Chatman has been instrumental in helping St. Andrew and A More Just World. These partnerships help churches like St. Andrew create and implement plans of understanding and action, furthering racial justice and healing.

Join members and friends of St. Andrew for a friendly game of basketball and fellowship in the St. Andrew gym. Men and women are welcome. It is a great way to stay in shape, meet some new people, and bond over a shared interest in the sport.

Each month, our church group gathers at a different local brewery in the Southwest metro for casual fellowship and connection. Sometimes we join in on trivia nights, other times we simply enjoy good conversation over a pint. It’s a relaxed way to build community and share life outside the church walls.

Join fellow Christian men each week to examine how faith affects our daily life and relationships. Participate weekly, when you can.
