10:30 AM Contemporary: (Advent 3) – “Come Now”

Text: Isaiah 64:1-9  God is always present. God is an ever-present God. In creation. In restoration. God does not ignore our transgressions. God is greatly troubled when we sin, hurt others, and ourselves. But God is also a God of restoration and renewal. Thankfully for us, each and every day of our lives, God comes to us with all that God has to give. Which, by the way, is everything!

Worship (10:30 AM Contemporary) “Warts and All”

Text: Luke 7:36-47 The mark of our most meaningful relationships is that the person sees us at our worst and loves us anyway.  The same is certainly true of Jesus, who knows everything about us and still loves us fiercely.  When we understand this, it leads us to love more deeply and to receive Jesus’ love with overflowing gratitude and praise.

Worship (10:30 AM Contemporary) “Our Turn”

Text: Matthew 16:24-26 Jesus said to his disciples, “If any want to become my followers, let them deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me.” What he said to his disciples he also says to us. And because God has done so much for us, now it’s our turn to love and serve!

Worship (10:30 AM Contemporary) “Living Without Others”

Text: Ruth 1:1-5 At some point in our lives, we will be faced with the loss of loved ones that completely change our lives and maybe even our circumstances forever. The story of Ruth and Naomi gives us a moving narrative about how to surround those who experience the deep grief of loss and even lead us to find hope, courage, and the community that sustains us. Let’s trust the larger story in our lives – we are always in…
