Love God—Love People

Love God—Love People

Love God—Love People

Jesus spent his entire life teaching us how to love—because that is really what life is about—Loving God—and Loving People. It’s just that simple.

November 14th marked the kick-off of our fall stewardship appeal. We are asking our members to think and pray about how they will support our work at home, in the community and in the world in 2022. But as many of you know, stewardship is not a seasonal activity—it is a lifelong opportunity to Love God—Love People. And we are looking forward to those opportunities to be good stewards together in the weeks and months ahead.

We welcome your commitments to support St. Andrew’s ministries in 2022.  Receiving those commitments now helps us plan for the future. If you would like to make a commitment, please contact John Nolan at and he will be happy to help you.

November 14- “Love God…”

Text: Matthew 22:34-40

It is always good to take a step back to look at the big picture; we do it in our own lives and we do this as a church of faithful people as well.  We will examine how our mission and ministry at St. Andrew is rooted in the greatest commandment of all: love God with all of our heart, mind, soul, and strength.  God’s own Spirit comes alongside us to empower and encourage as we make this our vision and goal for life in his name.

November 21 – “…Love People”

Text:  Luke 10:25-37 Our storytelling Savior gives us a parable that is packed with meaning and shows us the essence of Christian love.  We focus today on how compassion for others can be the driving force that ultimately brings meaning and purpose into our own lives even as we touch others.  How are to be “good Samaritans” in this time and place and how does St. Andrew’s story of mission and ministry intersect with our own?
