Visitation Pastor
Hello! I am Pastor Jeanne Aamot and I am delighted to be serving as the Visitation Pastor at St. Andrew Lutheran Church. I am also currently serving as a chaplain at Praha Village, a senior living community in New Prague. I enjoy working with people of all ages and especially feel called to working with seniors, discovering what God is up to in our world.
Previously, I served as an associate pastor at congregations in Chanhassen, Lakeville, and Willmar. My path into ministry has been a bit non-traditional, which is why you’ll hear me say, “God calls all kinds of people into ministry.” Before attending Luther Seminary, I worked in sales and marketing for a manufacturing company. I have a Master of Divinity degree, a Master of International Management degree from the University of St. Thomas, and a bachelor’s degree from Purdue University in Atmospheric Sciences.
My husband Gregg, our 19-year-old son Manny, and our nearly 13-year-old chocolate lab Moose live in Victoria. I enjoy walking, connecting with family and friends, watching Manny play baseball, and spending time at our lake cabin in Alexandria. I look forward to meeting you, hearing your stories, and growing in faith together.
