Children's Ministry
At St. Andrew, we believe faith begins at home and grows in community. Children’s Ministry is a joyful place for kids (birth–5th grade), their friends, and their families to connect, learn, play, and grow in faith—Sunday and Wednesday, and at special events throughout the year. Our programs help kids hear and experience God’s abundant love and practice following Jesus in everyday life. All are welcome.
Our Approach
We live our mission—You matter. You belong. We care.—by creating safe, welcoming spaces where kids are known by name, cared for by trusted leaders, and invited to discover the big story of God’s love through music, Bible storytelling, play, prayer, and service. Parents and caregivers are partners in this journey.
Sunday Mornings: Sunday School & Worship Together
Times: 9:00 AM & 10:30 AM (age-3 through 5th grade)
What Sundays Look Like
- Faith Rocks (Large Group): A lively, all-kids worship time led by our 4th–5th graders with songs, Bible storytelling, drama, videos, prayer, and a theme for the day.
- Small Groups (By Age): After Faith Rocks, kids return to classrooms for hands-on activities, curious questions, crafts, games, and guided conversation with volunteer Activity Leaders.
Check-In & Rooms
- Check-In: Stop at the narthex check-in table for a printed nametag.
- Classroom Welcome: Walk kids to their room.
- Room 204: 3–4 year-olds
- Room 205: 5-year-olds, Kindergarten, 1st grade
- Room 206: 2nd–3rd grade
- Room 208: 4th–5th grade
- Faith Rocks: Activity Leaders escort kids to Room 206 for large-group worship.
- Activity Time: Leaders return kids to their classrooms for small-group activities.
- Check-Out: Pick up in the same room you dropped off.
