Faith that Welcomes.
Love that Reaches.
St. Andrew is a vibrant community filled with faith, love, joy, and a deep commitment to caring for others – both near and far. Our 50th anniversary appeal, Faith That Welcomes. Love That Reaches., reflects who we are today and our vision for the future. Our doors are wide open to welcome all of God’s children, while our shared call to serve reminds us to also look beyond these walls and carry Christ’s love into the world.
As you prayerfully consider how you might support the future of faith at St. Andrew, we want you to feel informed and confident about how your gifts will be used. And to make sure we answer any answers you may have. If you would like to learn more, or need assistance with a gift, our staff is always available to help.

Commonly Asked Questions
Q: What am I being asked to do?
A: We encourage each person to begin with prayer—seeking
clarity about how God may be calling you to participate in Faith That Welcomes. Love That Reaches. Some will choose to make a one-time gift; others will make a pledge over time. Every response, offered in faith, plays a meaningful role in this shared work.
Q: When will gifts be received, and how long will the appeal last?
A: Commitments may be fulfilled through a one-year gift or a three-year pledge. Gifts can be made weekly, monthly, quarterly, or annually—allowing each household to give in a way that fits their circumstances.
Q: Is my appeal gift in addition to my regular giving?
A: Yes. Regular giving continues to support the ongoing ministry of St. Andrew. Gifts to this anniversary appeal are an additional expression of generosity, focused on strengthening foundations and preparing for the future.
Q: What if I’m not able to make a large gift?
A: That’s okay. This appeal depends on participation across the whole congregation. Faithful and consistent gifts—of all sizes—come together to support a shared vision and make a lasting difference.
Q: Can I give assets other than cash?
A: Yes. Some choose to give through stock, mutual funds, IRA distributions, donor-advised funds, or other assets. These gifts may offer tax advantages and can often increase the impact of generosity. Staff are available to help with details.
Q: How will appeal funds be used?
A: All gifts designated for Faith That Welcomes. Love That Reaches. support the appeal’s stated priorities— strengthening church infrastructure, sustaining camp ministry, and expanding outreach—so that St. Andrew can continue to serve faithfully for generations to come.
Q: What if my circumstances change after I make a commitment?
A: Life changes. A pledge expresses intention, not obligation. If circumstances shift, leadership welcomes conversation and flexibility.
Q: Why does this appeal matter now?
A: This anniversary moment invites us to care for what has been entrusted to us—so that the ministry we cherish today remains strong and faithful for those who will come after us. It is an act of stewardship shaped by gratitude for the past and trust in God’s future.
Q: Will there be debt involved?
A: No.

Meet Beth Yeh. Her story reminds us that no effort is too small when it comes to sharing our time and talents. Each of us is part of something greater, and our interconnectedness multiplies our impact in ways both seen and unseen. Getting involved may mean stepping outside our comfort zones, but these moments do more than serve others. They open the door to meaningful conversations, new relationships, and connections that surprise and inspire us in beautiful ways.
An excerpt from Julie Aasgaard’s story in the Faith and Generosity booklet
“We have received so much from St. Andrew through the years: enriching relationships, opportunities to examine and grow our faith, and a strong faith foundation and church home for our children. It is a privilege to try to give back. A bonus is that my life gets enriched and my faith gets stronger every time I volunteer or contribute in some way to God’s work here.”

Faith That Welcomes,
Love That Reaches.
Original song composed by Tim Graf, our Worship and Music Director, for the 50th anniversary appeal
Faith that welcomes, love that reaches.
Faith that assures, love that endures.
Peace that binds us, hope that finds us.
Grace that runs to bring us back home.
Grace that runs to bring us back home.
