Imagine What We Can Do Together!
As St. Andrew marks 50 years of ministry, we give thanks for the faith and generosity that have shaped this community—for all who have prayed, served, given, and trusted God along the way. Again and again, faith experienced in this community has moved people to share their time, resources, compassion, and courage. Faith That Welcomes. Love That Reaches. is our opportunity to carry this legacy forward for generations to come.

Ministry Partnership
Three connected areas of ministry form the foundation of our shared calling: to be a place where faith is nurtured, people are welcomed with care, love is practiced, curiosity is encouraged, and servant leaders are sent.
Our appeal goal of $5.5 Million allows us to strengthen each of these areas in meaningful ways. Over the past few weeks, we hope you’ve had a chance to learn more about our plans to thoughtfully, and faithfully, invest your financial gifts to grow God’s welcome at St. Andrew and extend God’s love more deeply into the world.
Reaching Further Together
As generosity grows, we have the opportunity to extend the impact of this appeal even further. Reaching a stretch goal of $7.1 million allows us to build on the foundation of the base appeal and address additional needs that support our shared ministry for the long term.
In the Church, this level of generosity allows St. Andrew to:
- Further invest in technology upgrades in the Sanctuary and Fellowship Hall
- Replace aging kitchen appliances in our main kitchen
- Refresh the bathrooms in our Early Learning classrooms
- Upgrade our landscaping, including rainwater collection to mitigate sprinkler costs
- Further strengthen our reserves for future growth and ministry
At Spirit in the Pines, reaching this level allows St. Andrew to:
- Replace one additional cabin
- Create additional adult housing in the space of the current 5th original cabin
- Strengthen infrastructure that prepares camp for future growth and expanded use
Through Ministry Partnership, reaching this level further allows St. Andrew to:
- Multiply our outreach efforts with greater reach and impact
- Deepen commitments to our partners and communities
- Extend the congregation’s capacity to respond to emerging needs with compassion and care

Meet Kris Stromsness and Kate Steinman. Their stories provide two perspectives of the same experience – helping our youth grow their faith in a church that’s welcoming, encouraging, and comfortable. Kris stepped into St. Andrew’s youth ministry to guide a group of girls through their early faith exploration and Kate is a joyful, spirit-filled member of our youth leadership team. Both embody the spirit of Faith that Welcomes. Love that Reaches. by nurturing smaller communities of faith within St. Andrew, and then helping these communities extend their faith out into the world.
An excerpt from Eric Werlinger’s story in the Faith and Generosity booklet
Q: What is it about St. Andrew that moves you to show up – with your time, your care, and your generosity?
A: “St. Andrew has consistently invested in our family, especially in our daughters, and that inspires us to invest back. Knowing that Kayden and Lilli are part of a community that values faith formation, kindness, and service makes us want to support that mission however we can. Showing up with our time and generosity feels like a natural response to a church that genuinely lives out its values and creates a space where people feel welcomed. We have especially loved the most recent additions of the high school youth podcasts and helping support this in a meaningful way. The high school youth have inspired us as people of faith and we are in awe of their vulnerability, thoughtfulness, and views of the world today.”

Our congregation continues to give generously of their time, talents and financial resources. These gifts allow St. Andrew to grow, while providing all who walk through our doors a place to pray, build faith, deepen relationships, and grow closer to God. But we know that generosity is so much more than just “giving away.” It opens our hearts to include the needs of others. Gratitude becomes more natural. Joy deepens. And in the process, we discover that God is not only working through our gifts, but also within us, making us more and more into the people He has created us to be.
