FALL 2025: GOD’S FAITHFULNESS ENDURES

Hello everyone, and God's blessings to you all.

As the seasons change and we move into the beauty of fall, we’re reminded that while the world around us shifts, God’s faithfulness never does. God’s promises remain constant, bringing hope where there is need, light where there is struggle, and renewal in every place God moves.

In this newsletter, you’ll read about lives touched by that faithfulness — from families receiving food in St. Marc, to students in Pasquette starting a new school year with joy, to a mission team preparing to serve in Belize. Through your prayers and generosity, God’s promises continue to take root and bear fruit across every season.

SUPPORT TO KICKOFF THE SCHOOL YEAR IN PASQUETTE

Students in Pasquette after receiving their backpacks and supplies

Just like in America, fall means back-to-school season for our friends in Haiti as well! In Pasquette, your generosity is helping children begin the school year with confidence. Thanks to support from the St. Andrew and United Lutheran communities, 76 children each received a kit with notebooks, pens, pencils, an eraser, a calculator, and geometric tools. 26 of them also received a new backpack. The distribution took place on September 1, and both parents and children were so thankful for these muchneeded supplies.

Julien shared how grateful the community is for this support, and we echo that gratitude. Thank you for helping equip students in Pasquette with the tools they need to learn and thrive!

FOOD DISTRIBUTIONS CONTINUE IN ST. MARC

Amid the terrible gang violence that continues to devastate Port-au-Prince and beyond, Kerlange has been faithfully bringing food and essential supplies to some of the most vulnerable families near her home in St. Marc. At a shelter that often goes weeks without food, she shared rice, beans, spaghetti, milk, cornmeal, sugar, and soap, meeting urgent needs and bringing a moment of relief and hope.

As Kerlange shared, “Thank you again for this opportunity you all give me to do this job. When I came the [woman] responsible said it was God that had sent us. The people were so hungry and were glad that I did bring some bread and juice for the children to eat. They were so happy.”

We are deeply grateful to you for making this possible through your financial generosity. Because of your support, hungry children were fed, families received essentials, and a struggling community was reminded that they are not forgotten.

CHRISTMAS IN PASQUETTE

As the holiday season approaches, we are reminded of the true spirit of Christmas — a time for giving and sharing joy. This year, we hope to bring a special celebration to the children of Pasquette, Haiti, including gifts, festive meals, and a heartfelt play depicting the birth of Jesus Christ. Many of these children face daily challenges such as poverty and limited access to education, and your support can help make this Christmas a moment of love, hope, and lasting memories.

Every donation, no matter the size, can provide gifts and treats, support the play and activities, and show these children that they are valued and loved. Together, we can bring joy to Pasquette this holiday season and remind the children of the true meaning of Christmas.

PRAY FOR OUR TRAVELERS!

At the end of October, a 15-member team (including Pastor Kristin!) will travel to the Cayo District of Belize to serve in San Antonio. The group includes both returning Haiti/Belize participants and several new faces. At Showers of Glory Camp, they’ll install a new playground funded by St. Andrew’s VBS/VBX kids (who raised over $2,800 this summer!) and lead the camp’s first-ever Women’s Retreat— a full day of prayer, praise, storytelling, and jewelry making.

The team will also help lead Chapel Time at United Pentecostal School for 230 students, visit homes to share food, prayer, and fellowship, and worship with the youthled service at Rey de Paz Church. They’ll return to U Janal Masewal for a cultural experience with the Tzib family and continue building relationships with old and new friends alike. Please follow St. Andrew’s social media channels for updates!

PRAYERS FOR STABILITY IN AN UNEASY WORLD

The challenges in Haiti continue, from gang violence to food shortages. We pray for Kerlange and her family and all in the country who face the unknown of where their next meal will come from. We pray for the youth of Pasquette, that their new school supplies will help them start the school year with confidence.

And we pray for our mission team heading to Belize at the end of October. We pray for their safety while traveling, for the work they’ll do at Showers of Glory camp, and for the relationships they’ll build. Thanks be to God for the chance to walk alongside our Belizean brothers and sisters and see Christ at work in the world.

Blessings,
Pastor Kristin, Linnae Stole, and the Seeds of Support Board
