Grounded in Creation
This is a disorienting season in our world and in our churches, in our communities and our families. But the created world has much to teach us about cycles, systems, ebbs and flows, and how to remain grounded despite the external circumstances that surround us. We are all
connected in and to this great web of life, and this feels like the right time to lean into that nature net together.
During this green season of ordinary time, we invite you to step out of the regular rhythm of the lectionary and into the flow of creation. Using the elements from above, below, and around us, we will explore Biblical stories of creation, connectedness, and care.
We will get outside, put our hands into the dirt and our feet in the water. We’ll engage all five senses all while we wonder and play together. This summer, we invite you to root down, look up, and learn what it might mean for you and your community of faith to be grounded in creation.

Bell Choir – Ring of Fire 2026-2027
St. Andrew Lutheran ChurchRing of Fire is a great opportunity for 4th-7th graders to learn the basics of handbell ringing, grow as a musician and make new friends in a supportive atmosphere! We play in worship several times throughout the year. No prior experience ringing handbells is necessary, everyone is welcome!

This team is dedicated to serving the community around them and being involved. We plan events, help with fundraisers and even podcast about our whole experience. This leadership is excited to meet the congregation and serve in so many ways.

Choir – Starlight Singers 2026-2027
St. Andrew Lutheran ChurchStarlight Singers welcomes the youngest children with a variety of activities. Children 3-years–kindergarten sing, dance, make music, and learn of Jesus’ love for them. Participate in worship approximately once per month, as well as additional Wiggle & Worship services. Parents are always invited to attend.

Shine 2026-2027
St. Andrew Lutheran ChurchShine begins on September 16 and runs through May 12. Children will use room 208 and the gym for meaningful conversation, fun games and activities, and more!

Choir – Sonshine Singers 2026-2027
St. Andrew Lutheran ChurchSonshine Singers is an exciting and energetic children’s choir for 1st–5th graders. Singers learn age-appropriate choral singing basics in a nurturing and fun environment. Kids will make new friends and have a blast with Jill Boyd. The choir sings during worship approximately once a month.

St. Andrew Lutheran ChurchIn Peace Ringers, 6th–12th graders will focus on learning and refining their handbell technique and musicianship while having a great time together! We play in worship several times throughout the year, and we may do one performance out in the community through the year. No experience is necessary, everyone is welcome!
