Canticle Choir

Age Range: Adults

Days/Times: Wednesdays from 7:30-8:45 pm, September-May

Location: Sanctuary

Description: The Canticle Choir singers lead the congregation at most 9 am Sunday services by singing the liturgy, special hymn arrangements, anthems, calls to worship, and the occasional major choral/orchestral compositions.

StAnd 4 (High School Choir)

Description: High school students are encouraged to participate in this excellent choir opportunity at St. Andrew.  StAnd4 meets during the month of December for supports worship services on Sunday, December 18, and the “I Won’t Be Home for Christmas” service on Monday, December 19. Rehearsals are on Wednesdays in December (December 7, 14, 21) from 5:15 – 6:00 p.m. in Room 107 with Sarah Gilbertson.

Spirit Singers

Age Range: 5th-9th Graders

Days/Times: Wednesdays from 5:40-6:25 pm, September-May

Location: Room 105

Description: The Spirit Singers sing approximately once a month in worship and once a year at the Café Concert. They sing anthems and descants for congregational hymns. Occasionally, they combine with the Canticle Choir, Sonshine Singers and Starlite Singers. A variety of instruments accompany the Spirit Singers.

Sonshine Singers

Age Range: 1st-4th Graders

Days/Times: Wednesdays from 6:15-7:00 pm, September-May

Location: Choir Room

Description: The Sonshine Singers is an exciting and energetic children’s choir. Singers learn age-appropriate choral singing basics in a nurturing and fun environment. Members learn to read choral music and healthy singing habits. The choir sings during worship one to two times per month.

Starlite Singers

Age Range: 3 – Kindergarten

Days/Times: Wednesdays from 6:15-7:00 pm, September-May

Location: Room 107

Description: Starlite Singers welcomes the youngest children with a variety of activities. The main focus is to sing, as well as learn of Jesus’ love for them. Participate in worship approximately once per month.
