Pastor David Lillejord

I guess I should have seen this pastor thing coming. My dad is a retired Lutheran pastor, and my late mother was a church organist, and choir director. I was ordained in 1991, and St. Andrew is my fourth congregation. My first call was Farmington Lutheran Church, Farmington, Minnesota. My second call was Incarnation Lutheran Church in North Oaks, Minnesota. My third call was Mount Calvary in Eagan, Minnesota. I attended Augsburg University for my undergraduate degree and Luther Seminary in St. Paul, Minnesota for my Master of Divinity. My favorite Bible story is The Prodigal Son. My favorite part of ministry is witnessing the great and vibrant faith that exists in those I am called to serve. When I am not at work, I love to hang out with my family, first and foremost. My wife and I are blessed with three children. In addition to our dog, Ruby, they are the light of my life – next to Jesus, of course. When I am not with them or watching them play sports I love to play golf and watch football.
