Description: Parenting is a forum for parents to receive experienced and faith-based counsel on raising middle and high school youth in today’s complicated world. Topics include “What is on Your Kid’s Phone?” and “How to Talk to Your Kid and Get Them to Respond”. Large group presentations and small group discussion are planned.

Speaker: Joe Schmit – sports caster, author, keynote speaker, story teller

Description: Join us at St. Andrew Lutheran Church on January 24, 2018 for an event for the whole family. Joe Schmit will present on our silent impact, leading a life of significance by positively impacting others and the world around us. Schmit’s book, Silent Impact, is in its third edition and will be available for sale.

Great leaders are the happiest, most productive people because they have discovered how to lead a life of significance. It’s all about making an impact. Schmit has been interviewing and researching influential people discovering the factors that truly make an impact in the lives of others.  He is a storyteller who has spent 30 years as sports anchor for KSTP-TV (ABC-Minneapolis/St. Paul) and has been awarded 17 Emmy’s and a National Headliner Award.
