Good Friday Worship (7:00 PM) “The Seven Last Words”
“The Seven Last Words”—where the story is primarily told through music as the Canticle Choir and a professional orchestra perform the soul-stirring music of Michael John Trotta. Our pastors provide context through devotional reflections and we experience the holding of the cross as a worshipping community together. Bring a friend and join us for this powerful service of music and reflection.
Good Friday Family Worship (5:30 PM)
Family Service—where we hear the story of Jesus’ love and sacrifice through spoken word, music, and the holding of the cross. This service is geared towards families with children and youth but all are welcome.
Palm Sunday (10:30 Blended)
Luke 19:28-42 Palm Sunday marks the beginning of Holy Week for Christians around the world. As our Sunday School children join us in worship with palm branches and shouts of “hosanna,” we hear together the story of Jesus’ triumphant entry into Jerusalem and we see how events will turn that lead Jesus toward the cross of Calvary—for us and for our salvation. Christians today still need to raise our voices in singing hosanna—“Lord, save us!”

Lent | Worship “God gives us a place of honor”
Text: Psalm 23:5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. God provides a place for us and it is a place of honor. What does the ancient world’s culture of honor and shame have to do with our life as 21st century Christians and who’s invited to that table that God prepares anyway?

Text: Mark 9:14-27 Mark’s Gospel gives us a story of a father coming to Jesus for the healing of his son. When Jesus tells him that all things are possible for those who believe, the man’s response is one that resonates with all people of faith who wrestle with matters of faith throughout our lifetimes: “I do believe, help me in my unbelief.” How does God come to us in our seasons of doubt?

Text: Luke 2:4-7 The story begins with Mary and Joseph getting ready for the birth of Jesus and not finding room at the inn. In the crowded busyness of our lives, do we turn away the Savior as well or can we learn to make room for the Prince of Peace in our lives- even when his presence makes demands of us?
“Lessons & Carols”
Text: Luke 2:1-7, Isaiah 9:2-7, Micah 5:2-5a, Luke 2:1-7, Luke 2:8-16, Matthew 2:1-11, John 1:1-14 The story of Christ’s birth is told through scripture readings and carols woven together and interspersed with devotional offerings from our pastors. Special music by St. Andrew’s Chamber Choir, Tim Graf, and Josh Eidem.
Love God, Love People | Love People… (10:30 AM Blended)
Text: Luke 10:25-37 Our storytelling Savior gives us a parable that is packed with meaning and shows us the essence of Christian love. We focus today on how compassion for others can be the driving force that ultimately brings meaning and purpose into our own lives even as we touch others. How are to be “good Samaritans” in this time and place and how does St. Andrew’s story of mission and ministry intersect with our own?
