Villains & Heroes of the Bible
Please join us for worship this Sunday as we continue our series “Villains and Heroes of the Bible.” This week, we dive into the Exodus story with a spotlight on the villainous Pharoah. As with all of the Biblical characters in our series, these stories can teach us a great deal about ourselves, our world, and our challenges. And, most importantly, the study of our villains and heroes also teaches us more about the grace of God that always “flips the script” and brings hope into the most hopeless messes we face. Come and bring a friend for a meaningful morning of inspired preaching, uplifting music, and for the richness of community as we do life together as the people of God! Exodus 14:5-8
When the king of Egypt was told that the people had fled, the minds of Pharaoh and his officials were changed toward the people, and they said, “What have we done, letting Israel leave our service?” So he had his chariot made ready and took his army with him; he took six hundred elite chariots and all the other chariots of Egypt with officers over all of them. The Lord hardened the heart of Pharaoh king of Egypt, and he pursued the Israelites, who were going out boldly.
