Being Church Together

Being Church Together

Hello St. Andrew family. We would like to invite you to join us in the 2023 giving appeal Being Church Together. Your gifts matter to the vibrancy of this congregation. You help us to provide an engaging and relevant worship service. You help us provide meaningful and purposeful small groups and service projects. All the while meeting people where they are to help others Live Out Their Faith In Daily Life. Thank you for Being Church Together and for considering ways in which you can engage in the 2023 Giving Appeal.

November 13th marked the kick-off of our fall stewardship appeal. We are asking our members to think and pray about how they will support our work at home, in the community and in the world in 2023. But as many of you know, stewardship is not a seasonal activity—it is a lifelong opportunity for Being Church Together. And we are looking forward to those opportunities to be good stewards together in the weeks and months ahead.

We welcome your commitments to support St. Andrew’s ministries in 2023.  Receiving those commitments now helps us plan for the future. If you would like to make a commitment, please contact John Nolan at jnolan@standrewlu.org and he will be happy to help you. You can also complete this commitment card and return it to church by Sunday, Nov. 27.

November 13:  “Being Church Together- Part 1”

Text: Psalm 133

In a time where we see an almost unprecedented amount of divisiveness in our nation and our world, it’s important to focus on how we do things differently in the church.  God has given us a vision and blueprint for how we can experience the richness of doing life and doing ministry together.  Join us as we reflect on the blessings of God and how the church can make a lasting impact on our community when we commit ourselves to this vision!

November 20: “Being Church Together- Part 2”

Text: Romans 15:4–6

How is God at work in us and in our church?  What is the work of our church and why does it matter?  We focus in on the role that we are called to play as God is joining us together to become a holy temple in the Lord “so that together we may with one voice glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.”
