Making Sense of Martin Luther by Pastor David Lose
Description: Join a St. Andrew pastor and other friends of St. Andrew for weekly discussion on a book relevant to Christian living in today’s world. In our upcoming new session beginning Thursday, November 3rd at 9AM, we will be reading and discussing Making Sense of Martin Luther by Pastor David Lose. Do we really know all that Lutheranism means for us? Want to meet fellow St. Andrew folks and our pastors in a casual, learning setting? If you are looking to learn something new or get a refresher in our theological background as Lutherans, Pastor David Lose leads this course about Martin Luther the man, his times, and how this renewed theology unleashed the gospel in ways that the world had never known before. These concepts are deeply important for us today as well. Each week includes a DVD presentation by Pastor Lose. Let us know if you would like to participate virtually. Books are available at the Reception Desk at church for $15.
Date/Time: Thursdays for seven weeks (excluding Thanksgiving Day) from 9:00-10:00 AM in Room 207 beginning November 3rd.
