Scholarships are available.\nOur Winter/Spring study of The Chosen season 5 begins January 7.  The table is set. The people of Israel welcome Jesus as king while His disciples anticipate His crowning. But—instead of confronting Rome—He turns the tables on the Jewish religious festival. Their power threatened\, the country’s religious and political leaders will go to any length to ensure this Passover meal is Jesus’ last. With the accompanying study guide\, The Stronghold of the Chosen\, we’ll learn that Jesus is our safe place\, along with all the reasons we should run to and remain in Him when hard times come.

DESCRIPTION:Those with no loom knitting experience along with experienced loom knitters are invited to gather for an easy-to-learn hat knitting class and connect with others from St. Andrew.\nBeginner knitters will be provided the loom\, tools\, yarn\, and instructions to knit a hat that will be donated to charity. Beginners will complete the brim of a hat\, and will knit the balance of the hat on their own at home. At the next gathering you will remove the hat from the loom\, cinch it closed\, make and attach a pompom.\nAdvanced knitters may bring their own loom and yarn or use those available in class. Advanced knitters may have the opportunity to learn a new stitch or pattern.\nAll knitters will enjoy sharing tips\, tricks\, and challenges of loom knitting.

DESCRIPTION:Wednesday Nights for kids are centered around building community\, connection\, friendship and fellowship! Shine is a “youth group” for kids in 1st – 5th grade. We are going to play high energy games\, have creative competitions\, silly challenges and lots of laughs with friends\, old and new – all grounded in a Bible verse or story! We’ll probably even get messy. There will be opportunities for service events to care for people outside of our community as well. If you’re looking for something fun to do\, Wednesday Night is the place for you! We will meet from 5:30-6:00 PM. Depending on registration numbers\, we may split into two different age groups.

DESCRIPTION:When it comes to matters of race in our community\, St. Andrew is dedicated to helping create a more just world for all people through listening\, learning\, growing\, and acting differently. Monthly meetings provide fellowship for people wanting to dedicate themselves to this process on an ongoing basis. Join us for conversation and learning opportunities. We discuss different cultures\, race\, equity\, and healing through the use of readings\, videos and other media as we rally around the cause to create a more just world for all. With the help of Pastor Kelly Chatman\, we are partnering with Zion Baptist Church and Zion’s Pastor\, Brian Herron. Pastor Kelly Chatman has been instrumental in helping St. Andrew and A More Just World. These partnerships help churches like St. Andrew create and implement plans of understanding and action\, furthering racial justice and healing.
