Anniversary Appeal Updates
Update: 8/26/26
Dear St. Andrew Lutheran Church community,
Exciting developments are underway at St. Andrew!
Construction will begin shortly on several projects around the Fellowship Hall that will enhance our ministry of welcome, hospitality, and accessibility. These include:
- A new kitchenette next to our current kitchen
- New family restrooms near the Fellowship Hall
- New gliding doors connecting the Fellowship Hall and narthex/lobby
These improvements are made possible through the generosity of our congregation and the gifts given to our 50th Anniversary Appeal. Thank you! It is exciting to see those gifts beginning to take shape in ways that will strengthen our ministry for years to come.
There is other exciting work underway as well. Our Associate Pastor call process is moving forward, as we continue discerning and preparing for the next person God is calling to serve alongside us. Together with these building enhancements and the many ministries returning to full swing this fall, there is a wonderful sense of new energy and possibility at St. Andrew.
As you come into the building over the next few months, you’ll notice temporary walls and plastic sheeting around work areas, occasional noise, workers coming and going, and some changes in how we move through or use the Fellowship Hall. Things may look and feel a little different for a while!
We’ll do our best to keep everyone informed and make the building easy to navigate throughout the process. In the meantime, we invite everyone to smile, take the long view, and practice open flexibility as the work unfolds. This temporary disruption will be worth it. These improvements will help us welcome people more fully and create more accessible and flexible spaces for ministry.
Thank you for your generosity, patience, and flexibility along the way!
Blessings,
Pastor Peter
