Family Visit Guide

Visiting with Kids? You’re in the Right Place.

We’re so glad you’re here.

Whether your kids are full of questions, full of energy, or just… full (of snacks), you are welcome at St. Andrew. We believe church is a place where the whole family belongs - wiggles, whispers, laughter, and all.

What to Expect

Our worship is designed with real families in mind.

You’ll see kids moving, talking, participating—and yes, sometimes making noise. That’s not a distraction to us. That’s a sign of life.

  • Services are about 50-55 minutes long
  • Kids are always welcome to stay in worship
  • We include interactive elements, music, and moments that engage all ages
  • You can come and go as needed - no pressure, no judgment
  • We offer a PrayGround with toys, and interactive elements in worship for our youngest friends
  • We also offer a family room, with a rocking chair, toys and a smaller space to enjoy our worship
  • There is an interactive worship bag station where your child can find sensory toys, coloring sheets and other activities to use while in worship. We encourage you to come early, and help your child create their own worship bag

If your child needs a break, that’s completely okay. You won’t be the only one.

Kids & Youth Opportunities

We love helping kids grow in faith in ways that fit their age and stage

Nursery (Ages 0-3)

A safe, caring space for our youngest children during worship.

Preschool & Elementary

Options may include Sunday School, once a month Worship Together, or our interactive activity bags station for items to use during the service.

Middle School & High School

Opportunities for connection, learning, and fun throughout the week, and a high school Bible study on Sunday mornings.
You can always ask a greeter or stop by the welcome desk—we’ll help you find the right place!)

Safety Matters to Us

We know trust is everything when it comes to your kids.

  • All volunteers are trained and background-checked
  • Secure check-in/check-out procedures are in place
  • We’re attentive to allergies, medical needs, and individual concerns

If there’s anything we should know to better care for your child, we’re here to listen.

What to Bring

Honestly? Just your family.

You’re welcome to bring:

  • A diaper bag or snacks
  • A favorite comfort item
  • Whatever helps your child feel at home

No fancy clothes required. No perfect behavior expected.

When You Arrive

We want your first visit to feel easy.

  • Enter through the main door
  • Stop by the Children, Youth and Family check in desk, or the front desk - we’d love to meet you and help you get oriented
  • If you have kids to check in, we recommend arriving about 10 minutes early

Look for friendly faces—we’ll help you every step of the way.

Supporting Every Family

Every child is wonderfully unique, and we want to support that.

  • Sensory needs? We can help you find a quieter space
  • Need to step out? You’re always welcome to return
  • Using a stroller or wheelchair? We’ve got accessible spaces ready

If there’s a way we can better support your family, please let us know.

Frequently Asked Questions

What if my child cries or gets loud?

That’s okay. Truly. You are not bothering anyone.

Can my child stay with me in worship?

Absolutely. Kids are always welcome in the service.

Do we have to be members?

Not at all. You can come as you are, for as long as you’d like.

What if we’re late?

Come on in. We’re just glad you made it.

What should we wear?

Come as you are comfortable.

We’d Love to Meet You

You don’t have to figure this out alone.

If you have questions before you come, or just want a friendly face to connect with, reach out anytime - or stop by the welcome desk when you arrive.

We can’t wait to meet you and your family.
