Canticle Choir

Rehearsals: Wednesdays, September – May, 7:30 – 9:00 p.m., Sanctuary
The Canticle Choir, an ensemble of adult voices, is responsible for leading the congregation in the singing of hymns and the liturgical parts worship at the 9 a.m. service on Sundays. It sings anthems in a variety of musical styles either acappella or accompanied by piano, various instruments or full orchestra. The All Saints Candle–lighting Service and the Good Friday Tenebrae Service are special worship experiences presented by the Canticle Choir and Festival Orchestra. All interested adults are most welcome. An audition is not necessary nor is musical reading skill.

Live Wire music participants lead our high school students, young adults and families in music during Sunday evening Live Wire Worship. Emphasis is placed on selecting quality contemporary music and providing good leadership with voice and instrumentation, including guitar, keyboard and percussion.

Youth Choir of St. Andrew

All boys and girls in grades 5-8 are invited to sing with the Youth Choir of St. Andrew. The choir will learn new music and learn about music. Anthems are chosen from a fun and interesting variety of music. This ensemble will participate in worship about once a month.

Sonshine Singers

Sonshine Singers is a youth choir for boys and girls in grades 1 - 4. Musical skills and techniques are learned and an anthem is presented in worship about once a month. The primary purpose of this choir is to strengthen the connection between music, worship and friendship.

Starlite Singers welcomes the youngest children — preschool boys and girls ages 3–K with a variety of activities. The main focus is to have fun singing and learning of Jesus’ love for them. We will participate in worship approximately once per month.

Adult Bell Choir
Bells of Joy

This handbell choir for adults and experienced high school age ringers meets weekly to work on challenging three to five octave music. We play once per month at worship services. Most members are of intermediate or advanced experience level; if you are interested in learning to ring handbells, please talk with the director about being a part of this group or the Genesis Bells entry-level choir, described below.

The Celebration Singers is a new choir being formed fall of 2010 for high school and adult singers. This choir will be an integral part of worship leadership at the 10:30am service on Sunday mornings. Music selected will be of a more contemporary nature and a primary focus will be to encourage strong participation by the congregation.
