Schools Out and The Sun is Out! Time to head to the beach! Join some of your favorite youth ministers at Bryant Lake Beach this summer. Tuesdays, June 15, July 13, July 27, and August 17 from 1–3 PM. Kansas City, MO July 11–17, 2010     Cost: $455

Kansas City is well–known for its parks, architecture, world-class arts and museums. But within this thriving midwestern city, there are those who struggle with poverty. From serving the city's homeless, to facilitating activities for children and the elderly, there are many ways to shine the light of Christ in this community.

This trip is for 7th – 9th grade youth of St. Andrew (grade completed). This also includes non-members. Adult leaders are also need for each trip.

Please take note of these important dates for Mission trip 2010:
February 1st: $200 payment due; if you cancel after this date and your place is unable to be filled, you will forfeit your $300.00 already deposited.
June 1st: Final payment due, $155.00
July 11–17: Mission Trip Dates
(We will meet to leave Sunday, July 11 @ 7:30am and return Approx @ 4:00pm Saturday, July 17)

WNYG — Wednesday Night Youth Group

WNYG is for all 9th – 12th graders and their friends. We meet every Wednesday from 8:01– 9:30pm. Every week brings a new adventure as we explore our relationship with one another as Christian friends and with our faith. WNYG is a time of friendship, games, devotions, food and much, much more. Join us any or every Wednesday night. All are welcome.

YOUTH MISSION TRIP 2010

Northern Cheyenne, Montana July 9–18, 2010     Cost: $645

Northern Cheyenne Reservation in Montana is home to the unique culture and heritage of the Cheyenne people. But the day–to–day realities of life on the reservation present several challenges, from unemployment to poverty to inadequate housing. There is much to learn from this resilient tribe as your group participates in work projects on the reservation and ministers to local children.

This trip is for 10th – 12th grade youth of St. Andrew (grade completed). This also includes non-members. Adult leaders are also need for each trip.

7th & 8th Grade Confirmation Service Event

Our confirmation students had fun with service projects in October. Some groups helped with the Honduras Shoe Boxes, others took part in "Trick or Treat" for cans — collecting food for the local food shelf, and others brought in food donations and then had a contest to build the most unique structure!

Upon the arrival of new carpet in the Youth Room, the Youth Team has decided the space needs a makeover. We'd love your help in getting some of the things that are needed for this renovation. The Youth Room is an extremely important place for the youth of St. Andrew to hang out with each other and build relationships with other youth in the church. If you have any of the things listed below, please contact any member of the Youth Team Thank you SO much!
