St. Andrew Lutheran Church: Early Childhood

At St. Andrew Early Learning Center, we accept with great respect the responsibility and trust parents have placed with us in the care of their young child(ren). We as staff strive to carry out quality in all aspects of our program. Our staff is committed to the development of young children. We will work with parents as our partners as we consult with them to assure their child(ren) receives the quality of care and learning crucial in these early years.

Our Center

Our center offers early childhood care and learning in a warm, safe and loving Christian environment. We offer care for children from 6 weeks of age until 5 years of age (or just before entering Kindergarten). We encourage cooperative play with the guidance of our early childhood professionals which makes us a great place for your child to make new friends! Our center features an indoor gym, outdoor playgrounds, private classrooms for infants, toddlers and preschoolers, practice life dramatic play areas, hands on science and math opportunities, music, a wide range of 'Whole' language experiences……all within a Christian environment!!

Staff

Our staff is employed by St. Andrew Lutheran Church and is a valued part of our ministry team. All of our teachers have Early Childhood or Elementary Education backgrounds and meet the teacher qualifications as set up by Department of Human Services. They are also trained in CPR, First Aid, SIDS, Shaken Baby and receive additional training throughout the year. Our staff is selected for their experience and education with young children plus a desire to want to use those skills in a Christian environment.

Hours

Our center is open from 7:00am to 5:30pm year round. We are closed six major holidays plus Christmas Eve, the day after Thanksgiving, Good Friday, 3 staff development days and our annual Early Childhood conference days.

Meals

We have an on site Food Safe Certified Cook who provides our children with a nutritious hot breakfast, hot lunch and an afternoon snack. We also incorporate the importance of nutritional values and healthy eating habits through weekly classroom chats by "Chef Pierre".

Tuition

Tuition payments are due on the first day of your child's week.
We require a non-refundable registration fee of $65 per family.

Infant: 5 Full Days = $309

Toddler: 5 Full Days = $274

Preschool: 5 Full Days = $243

Part time schedules may be available, but only if we are able to match you with another part time schedule. Please call for more details if you are interested in part time care.
