St. Andrew Lutheran Church: Church School

St. Andrew is a church family that welcomes children. We believe it is important that children spend time in worship on a regular basis and learn that they are welcome in the Sanctuary. Children’s Sermons are part of all worship services, and Church School begins at the conclusion of the Children’s Sermon.

St. Andrew strives to meet the needs of many people by offering Church School at three different hours. Classes are available for 3 year olds through 6th grade. Children must be three years of age by September 1st to enroll in Church School classes. Those younger than three years will enroll in the nursery where we will have age appropriate church school lessons.

Regular Year church school begins the weekend of September 11 and 12! Children ages 3 yrs to 5 yrs are welcome to join us for Joy School (see below) during the summer.

B.L.A.S.T. (BIBLE LEARNING AND SPIRITUAL TIME)

Kindergarten, 1st & 2nd Grade
First Wednesday of the Month 5:45–6:30
Beginning November 3rd
Room #102

We meet the 1st Wednesday of each month in Room #102 from 5:45–6:30. If your child is in choir, Ava will walk them to their choir room where you will pick them up when choir is over. If your child is not in choir, please pick up child promptly at 6:30pm.

BLAST is designed for our children who are in grades Kindergarten through 2nd grade. We will learn Bible Stories, play games, have an art project maybe even sometimes have a snack. Our goals for this program are to help children develop a better understanding of Bible Stories, gain experience in faith sharing, learn how to pray together, form lasting friendships with other children at St. Andrew and to HAVE FUN!

As always, parent volunteers are welcomed to be an extra pair of helping hands during this event. Contact Ava if you wish to volunteer for one or all times.
